"Making" Series Ed. 5 - Theater, Film, TV & Music with Sahr Ngaujah
Sahr Ngaujah is a director, writer, actor and composer in theater, film, TV and music. You may already know him from any number of his works in these myriad artistic mediums. Amongst a lifetime of artistic achievements, Sahr played Fela Kuti in the broadway musical Fela!, for which he received several awards and was nominated for a Tony. He will again be hitting the broadway stage as Toulouse Lautrec in Moulin Rouge, which premiers in late July.
In this edition of Le Mondeur’s making series, our Chief Ambassador, Jordan McLean, sits down with Sahr Ngaujah to talk about his many crafts, and more. You’ll hear from Sahr on the power of engaging an audience through story telling, being the voice of a video game character, traveling to his father’s home country of Sierra Leone for the first time, and the value in making art “just for the joy of it.”
Happy listening!
